A Lionel Messi double against Celtic put Barcelona in to the driving seat for the return leg of their Champions League last-16 tie in a fortnight's time.

Olympiacos 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea carved out a bore draw against Olympiacos in Athens to give themselves a real chance of reaching the last eight of the Champions League.

Schalke 1-0 Porto


Porto endured an unhappy return to the ground where they won the 2004 Champions League, losing narrowly to Schalke in the first leg of their last-16 tie on Tuesday night.
